Gaga donated the money to the Red Cross as she wants to help out her home state of New York, states TooFab. “To New York and The American Red Cross. Today I pledge 1 million dollars to New York & The American Red Cross for Hurricane Sandy Relief,” Gaga revealed.
She went on to comment that she is grateful for all that New York has done for her as a person and an artist.

HollywoodNews.com: Amanda Bynes might want to take a break from driving as she was reportedly involved in yet another car accident.
Bynes was reportedly driving in the San Fernando Valley, California area when she was rear-ended by another vehicle, states TMZ. The other driver is reportedly claiming that Bynes made a reckless maneuver that triggered the accident.
Police officers did report to the scene of the accident, but it is reported that no one was ticketed.
Bynes has recently been accused of DUI along with being involved in three car accidents.

She is reportedly receiving the award due to her work in “the movement for arts education, her generosity to communities devastated by natural disaster, and especially the compassion she’s shown as a proud defender against bullying and LGBTI discrimination.”
Previous recipients have been Al Gore, George Clooney, Bill Clinton, Archbishop Desmond Tutu and Bono.

Kyle Glover was reportedly removed from life support after it was determined that his injuries were too severe to survive, states Hollyscoop. Glover was reportedly riding on an inner tube when a jet ski collided with it and injured him.
The accident is still under investigation in regard to any charges that may result.

HollywoodNews.com: 50 Cent had a bit of an accident early this morning as his SUV was involved in a collision with a mack truck.
The truck reportedly caused the accident by rear-ending his vehicle and causing him a few injuries, states TMZ. As a result of the impact, 50 Cent’s SUV reportedly almost flipped over.
His rep did confirm that accident that took place in New York. The rep also commented that 50 Cent was treated for neck and back injuries and then released.

It is reported that Duff is being sued by another woman over an alleged car accident that supposedly occurred in 2010, states TMZ. Rachel Owens is claiming that she was driving when Duff crashed into the back of her car.
Owens claims she has suffered a number of injuries that have required surgery. She also claims that she has been unable to work due to the accident.
She is now seeking unspecified damages.

The film’s greatest narrative strength is that it refuses to be a representative saga of the impoverished victims of that 2005 storm. It is merely a heart-wrenching would-be myth told from the point of view of a single child.
