Natalie Portman’s wedding dress designed by Rodarte

HollywoodNews.com: Natalie Portman married Benjamin Millepied this weekend, and the lucky design she wore was a Rodarte wedding dress.
Portman wore a dress from the label designed by her good friends, Laura and Kate Mulleavy, states UsMagazine.com. The dress was reportedly a white A-line dress that included sheer sleeves.
Portman also reportedly wore flats with her dress along with a veil and a floral crown.
Rodarte has been working with Portman for some time now as the designers created her ‘Black Swan’ tutus along with the dresses she wore to the 83rd Annual Academy Awards and the 20120 Venice Film Festival.
Portman and Millepied had a traditional Jewish ceremony this weekend near Big Sur, California.

The singer recently revealed that she probably won’t move forward with her solo career, states Entertainment Weekly. “That was a moment in time. It went on a little longer than we all thought it would, because it was inspired and you have to go with wherever you’re at in that time in your life,” Stefani said about her solo endeavors.

Natalie Portman’s dance double wants her side to be told

HollywoodNews.com: Natalie Portman has been avoiding the dance drama with ‘Black Swan,’ but her dance double wants her side to be known.
Sarah Lane has reportedly been interviewed by ’20/20′ and is defending her stance on the whole thing, states RadarOnline.com. Lane claims she wasn’t looking for fame with the film, but doesn’t want viewers thinking Portman did it all when she believes most of the dance shots are her.
It is believed that the belief that Portman did so much of the dancing was a big part in her winning the Oscar.
Lane claims that 80% of the dancing is Portman only if you include the face shots as dancing shots.
The full interview airs at 10/9c.

Natalie Portman’s ‘Black Swan’ dance double is upset

HollywoodNews.com: Natalie Portman has received awards and attention for her ‘Black Swan’ role, but one person is upset for not getting much credit when it comes to the dance that was done.
Sarah Lane was Portman’s dance double in the film and is upset that executives involved with the film allegedly wanted it to seem as if Portman did all the dance work, states UsMagazine.com. “They were trying to create this facade that she had become a ballerina in a year-and-a-half,” Lane said about allegedly not being able to speak about her work on the film.
However, Portman’s fiance and ‘Black Swan’ choreographer Benjamin Millepied told the LA Times a different story: “Honestly, 85% of that movie is Natalie,” adding that Lane only did footwork, the fouettes and one diagonal in the studio.

Natalie Portman on what pregnancy has done to her

HollywoodNews.com: It seems Natalie Portman is getting right into her pregnancy, but she is finding that she now has to dress a little differently.
Portman reportedly joked during an interview that pregnancy has made her rule out wearing belly shirts anymore, states Just Jared. But on a more serious note, she also finds herself wearing a lot more flats.
And while she is finding the dressing to be easy so far, she isn’t so confident that everything else will be the same: “I have no idea what (motherhood) is going to be like so I’ll feel it out.”

Natalie Portman, Ashton Kutcher release edgier “No Strings” trailer

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Though it’s only four days old, we’re going ahead and declaring 2011 “The Year of Natalie Portman.”
The actress has four films reaching theaters this year, including the anticipated stoner comedy “Your Highness” and the summer blockbuster “Thor.” Off screen, she announced that she’s engaged to be married … and expecting her first child. Oh yeah, and she’s more than likely about to nominated for an Oscar thanks to her mesmerizing performance in Darren Aronofsky’s “Black Swan.”
Something tells me we’ll be writing a lot about Portman as the year progresses, starting today. We’re getting a good look at Portman’s next film, “No Strings Attached,” a romantic comedy co-starring Ashton Kutcher that hits theaters on Jan. 21. Initially, I feared that a sappy rom-com released right before the Academy cast its votes could hurt Portman’s chances (the way “Norbit” allegedly hurt Eddie Murphy’s Oscar prospects for “Dreamgirls”).
But a new restricted trailer over on WorstPreviews suggests something else: a bawdy, edgy comedy that shows different sides of Portman’s humor that we knew were there (thanks to films like “Garden State” and “Closer”) but often are kept in check.
The new clip, which features plenty of vulgar sex humor, also shows Ivan Reitman’s influence. Of course, the “No Strings” director helmed such comedy classics as “Ghostbusters,” “Meatballs,” “Stripes” and “Twins.” Then again, he also directed “Junior” and “Six Days, Seven Nights.”
This could be either. But the new, rowdy “No Strings” trailer at least gives me hope that this won’t be another run-of-the-mill romantic comedy that panders to date-night couples.

Portman’s fiance, Benjamin Millepied, was reportedly just in a relationship with another woman, Isabella Boylston, states Digital Spy (via People). The two were reportedly travelling together as recently as November 2009, right before he left to work on ‘Black Swan.’
The two were also working together in January 2010, while Portman’s film began shooting in December 2009. It’s unknown when Portman and Millepied began their relationship.
