Tim Gunn dresses down Hillary Clinton I was conflicted over doing this post because I have so much respect for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, one of the most phenomenal women in the history of American politics.
But it’s Tim Gunn who was being disrespectful to the former First Lady and United States senator when he dissected her fashion sense on The George Lopez Show this week.
“Why must she dress that way? I think she’s confused about her gender!” Gunn said. “I just wish she could send a stronger message about American fashion. No, I’m really serious, she wears pantsuits that are unflattering.”
I usually like Tim Gunn but I don’t think Hillary Clinton’s job is to be a fashion trend-setter. She looks perfectly acceptable as she travels the world doing her very demanding job.
At least Tim added this: “I have great respect for her intellect and her tenacity and for what she does for our country in her governmental role.”

Michelle Obama’s Dinner Gown

This shows you how one star can turn anyone into an overnight success.
“First Lady Michelle Obama made Jason Wu a household name when she wore his white gown to the presidential Inaugural ball, and she’s bound to have the name Naeem Khan on the tongues of women across the country over the holiday after wearing one of his designs to her first, India-themed, State Dinner last night in Washington D.C. “I feel so happy to be a part of this historical event between the two countries where my heart lies,” the India-born designer tells PEOPLE.”
