Esperanza Spalding Premieres “Radio Song” at David Letterman’s Show

HollywoodNews.com: With only one day left before Esperanza Spalding releases her new studio album Radio Music Society, the jazz songstress is premiering another one of her short films — this time for “Radio Song”. Tonight, Esperanza will perform on The Late Show with Letterman so tune in at 11:30pm EST on CBS!

In the meantime, be sure to pre-order your own copy of Radio Music Society from iTunes here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/preorder/radio-music-society/id506398768
“I can’t stop listening to…Esperanza Spalding’s mellow, jazzy Radio Music Society. She surprised a lot of folks when she won Best New Artist at the 2011 Grammys (beating out Justin Bieber). But after hearing her new songs–my favorites are ‘Black Gold,’ ‘Cinnamon Tree,’ and ‘Smile Like That’–the haters will be eating their words. The girl’s way more than great hair.” – GAYLE KING, O MAGAZINE
“Radio Music Society is Spalding’s answer to the skeptics, even if she doesn’t intend it to be so. Nothing about this project feels like an attempt to cross over, but everything about it is undeniably more accessible than her former. As a bassist, she’s one of jazz’s brightest talents. As a singer, she can carry a note with the best of her peers. Both gifts are on full display, but it’s Spalding’s knack for songwriting that puts Radio Music Society in a category of its own.” – BILLBOARD
“Ironically the songs from this disc were recorded at the same time as the tracks for Chamber Music Society, but Spalding elected to hold off releasing them until now. As fate would have it, the half she released won for her a much deserved Grammy. And the half she is releasing now could well yield her another. Highly Recommended.” – SOUL TRACKS
