HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan may be nearing the end of her jail stint, but that doesn’t mean she’ll have to report straight into her 90-day rehab sentence.

Her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, visited Lindsay today at the Lynwood Correctional Facility and said that “She’s looking forward to her release. It’s a light at the end of the tunnel,” reports People.

She adds that Lindsay is “fine” although she’s “not exactly sure” when her jail time will be over.

Hang in there LiLo, you’ll be out soon enough.

HollywoodNews.com: “24″ alumn Clayne Crawford has just landed himself a major role in the new HBO pilot entitled “All Signs of Death.”

The series is “based on Charlie Huston’s best-selling crime novel” and “revolves around a slacker-turned-crime scene cleaner (Ben Whishaw) who gets entangled in a murder mystery.” Crawford will play his best friend, “a sexy greaser who runs a tattoo parlor,” according to Entertainment Weekly.

HollywoodNews.com: On Wednesday, attorneys for British author J.K. Rowling requested the dismissal of a copyright infringement lawsuit centered around Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The lawsuit was filed by the estate of the late Adrian Jacobs, who claims that Rowling copied details from Jacobs’ 1987 book “Willy the Wizard”. John Baldwin QC, who is representing Rowling in the suit, stated to the High Court that the suit should be dismissed, saying Rowling “did not copy the claimants work and there are no grounds for thinking otherwise”.
Willie the Wizard was, as Baldwin was quoted as saying to the court, “very, very badly written” and alleged the claimants’ website described it as “almost unreadable”.

The lawsuit is one of two being filed by Jacobs’ estate; in addition to the suit against Bloomsbury – the British publisher of the Harry Potter books – the estate recently filed a similar suit against Scholastic, who publishes the American editions of the best-selling series.

HollywoodNews.com: Los Angeles-based post-hardcore band From First to Last have officially announced that they are going on hiatus as a band. Since the departure of lead singer Sonny in 2007 and then losing current singer Travis Richter a few months ago, it seems as if the band needs some time to compose themselves.

The last original member, Matt Good, gave Altpress the following statement regarding the news:

“Hey guys, just wanted to take a minute to update you all with the current status of FFTL. As of now right now we are basically going on hiatus. Now before everyone starts jumping to conclusions I just want to make sure everyone knows me and the other members of the band are all still very, very close. We have been best friends for years and will continue to be for as long as I can possibly forsee, so I don’t want anyone to think this is a result of animosity between them and I. There is nothing but love between us.

This is mostly a decisions based off a changing of times and the desire to start pursuing new things in our lives. This band has been the center of our lives for our entire adulthood to date. Four full length albums and almost 8 years of solid touring later, the urge to see what else we are capable of achieving is almost overwhelming and I feel like there is no better time than now to go ahead and take a leap of faith and see what happens. Just know From First To Last is responsible for everything I have in my life, good and bad, and as far as I’m concerned it will probably continue to exist until I am too old to do it anymore or dead. We love every single person that has ever helped make our dream of being musicians and traveling the world come true. I know without the people who supported us, we would be nothing and I am eternally grateful for everything. Just know we aren’t going to let you guys down and we still plan on making music at some point in the future when it makes sense for all of us. For now just keep a lookout for new projects and future endeavors from all of us. Thanks for an incredible 8 years!”

The 26-year-old model, who wed Walliams in May, claims the magazine used several ‘unauthorized’ photos that they had ‘no right’ to publish.

London lawyers Schillings are now set to start proceedings against the magazine as well as the photographer Greg Lotus.

Speaking about the matter, Stone said: “Playboy had no right to publish these unauthorized photographs. It’s not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in. I feel I have no option but to take steps to protect my reputation.”

Both the photographer and publication were unavailable for comment, according to Sky News.

The pair may have only been dating for four months but they are allegedly already looking for somewhere to live together in the Big Apple.

A source said to UK newspaper The Sun: “They’re very loved-up, they just click. Kate’s had a place in the city for five years but she wants somewhere bigger, so Matt’s suggested pooling their resources. Kate wants a studio for Matt and playroom for her son, Ryder.”

The pair met at the Coachella Festival earlier this year and Hudson, 31, has been spotted travelling to the UK to watch the British rocker perform at the Glastonbury Festival.

HollywoodNews.com: It is still unclear as to what the truth is in the Oksana Grigorieva vs. Mel Gibson case. However, it turns out that Oksana wrote a secret letter to her lawyer the night that she was allegedly beaten by Mel.

In the letter that has now been included as evidence in the case, Oksana writes, “He hit me in the face with a fist and broke two of my front teeth, as well as he was choking me with his elbow and squishing my face down with the palm of his hand,” reports Radar Online.

She continues, “He went completely violent while I was holding our two month old baby crying in my arms.” She goes on to say that after he hit her, “He yelled so loudly in my face for 15 minutes at least. I was trying to run away outside, begging him to stop…..I’m asking for your help. I don’t know what to do right now. The scariest thing is the safety of my children. He also threatened to take Lucia away from me, because he can. Because he has money!”

The 35-year-old dropped over 50 pounds for a part in upcoming movie ‘Things Fall Apart.’ He revealed during an appearance on The View that he studied interviews with actors who had gone through similar weight loss for movie roles.

He said : “I read [Robert] De Niro’s interviews during Raging Bull, Christian Bale’s during The Machinist and Tom Hanks with Philadelphia.”

The rapper added that he was very specific with what he wanted to eat once filming had finished.

He said: “I remember specifically what the first thing was, because I was starving. I had a steak. It was 12 ounces, but I got about four ounces in before I started getting sleepy.”

Runway marked the beginning of his television career and he has since also hosted Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style and done guest stints on Ugly Betty, Drop Dead Diva and How I Met Your Mother.

Before he became a TV star, Tim was on the faculty of Parsons The New School for Design from 1982 to 2007 and was chair of fashion design for the last seven years. He then joined Liz Claibourne as its chief creative officer.

A few things I did not know about Tim: His father was an FBI agent working under J. Edgar Hoover. Tim was also a champion swimmer throughout high school.

HollywoodNews.com: Lindsay Lohan may be a celebrity, but that doesn’t mean she’s getting extra privileges in jail. Her mother, Dina, wants to make it clear that her living situations are not glamourous.

Despite reports that she has a cell phone in jail, she said, “She doesn’t have cell phone privileges, that’s absurd. She doesn’t even have a pillow to sleep on,” reports Radar Online. She adds, “I talk to her through glass. There’s a phone and we put her on speaker but I can’t even hug my daughter. She’s treated like a common criminal.”

However, she says that the personnel at the jail and the inmates at the jail have been treating her well.

The 24-year-old is currently holed up at the Lynwood Prison in Los Angeles where inmates got angry and started chanting threats at her as they believed wardens had been too lenient with her.

A source said to UK newspaper Daily Mirror: “Wardens are being easy on Lindsay. She has her own cell and doesn’t have to mix with other inmates. She is crying and talking to wardens and keeping others awake. Her preferential treatment is causing a lot of resentment.”

She has also reportedly been asking for Ben and Jerry’s ice cream.

The actor was due to star in a movie directed by Gibson about Vikings however he is reportedly set to pull out after claims that Gibson had been violent to his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.

Asked if he is still set to star in the movie, a source said to RadarOnline.com: “Not a chance.” The movie would have been DiCaprio’s first collaboration with Gibson but it has been claimed he doesn’t want to associate himself with him now.

A source added: “Leo has earned the right to pick and choose who he works with and Mel Gibson is not one of them.”

HollywoodNews.com: Madonna’s directing her first feature film in the United Kingdom. The word is, it’s a mess. Are we surprised? “The crew turnover is constant,” says one source. Says another: “The movie may be brilliant, but it’s unlikely anyone working on it will to live to see it finished.”

Madonna is “micro managing everything.” they say. “Everything has to be approved by her. Everything.”

Madonna Louise Ciccone from the Detroit area is now such an Anglophile that she is obsessed with the saga of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. In case you’ve never seen or read “Edward and Mrs. Simpson,” and haven’t studied this history: King Edward abdicated the throne in order to marry an American commoner, Wallis Simpson. She was already married at the time. Edward’s brother George ascended to the throne, thus setting the stage for the current occupants of Buckingham Palace. Queen Elizabeth is Edward’s niece.

I’ve just read the January draft of “W.E.” which is said to have been revised many times over since then. But the basic premise is still in place. Madonna and Alek Keshishian have written the Windsor story as if it were “Wally and Wallis”–as in “Julie and Julia” — or “The Hours.” The script cuts back and forth between a modern young woman named Wally and the imagined events of the distant past with Wallis Simpson. Eventually they meet–impossibly–as contemporary Wally draws strength from Wallis.

HollywoodNews.com: If you happen to be visiting Harry Potter: The Exhibition at the Ontario Science Center and begin to feel the happiness draining from all around you, there’s a perfectly logical reason for it. The exhibition, which opened at the center in April and will remain in Ontario until August 22, has added a 10-foot tall Dementor to the traveling exhibit.

Dementors, for those of you muggles who know nothing of the Harry Potter world, are magical beings whose sole purpose is to drain all others of any happy thoughts, even going so far as to suck out your soul. Harry Potter fans first encountered the creepy creatures in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and then saw them again (slightly re-vamped) in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition has been open to the public since Spring 2009, featuring more than 200 costumes, props and other artifacts items taken directly from the film sets and put on display for Potter fans everywhere. The exhibit debuted in Chicago, then traveled to Boston before moving to our neighbor up north. The next location for the traveling exhibit has not been announced yet, but with the Exhibition closing out in Canada in less than a month, an announcement should be made very soon.
