Sheen opened up to the newest issue of ‘Playboy’ about feeling badly with how things went down with former castmate Jon Cryer, states UsMagazine.com.
“I whaled on him unnecessarily. He was trying to keep the sh-t together, trying to cover my ass, pick up the slack. He just got caught in the crossfire. He’s a beautiful man and a f-cking fabulous dude and I miss him. I need to repair that relationship, and I will. I will reach out and do whatever is necessary,” Sheen commented.

Charlie Sheen thinks ‘Two and a Half Men’ needs to end

HollywoodNews.com: ‘Two and a Half Men’ was all the talk last year when Charlie Sheen ended up being cut from the show and Ashton Kutcher came on to replace him.
But now that some of the hype has died down, Sheen seems to think this is a sign that the show has run its course, states Hollyscoop. Sheen recently told ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ that it’s about time to call it a wrap.
“I don’t think it [TAHM] should go on past this year. I just think that people are there because there’s nowhere else to go,” Sheen commented.
However, he isn’t blaming it on Kutcher: “Hats off to Ashton for doing the best job that he can. I don’t think that he’s working with the best writing because [Chuck Lorre] is doing too many shows. He and [Jon Cryer] and [Angus T. Jones] deserve better material.”

John Slattery will direct at least one new “Mad Men”

HollywoodNews.com: Emmy nominee John Slattery is back, directing at least one new episode of “Mad Men” this season. It’s episode 5, he told our Leah Sydney on Friday at the classy Emmy nominees party on Friday at the Pacific Design Center. “I can’t give you details-but I’m prepping to direct the next episode-# 5. There are some great surprises.
The writing is so good; it feels like the first season. I don’t know how Matt [Weiner] does it. No matter how much you know about these characters, they are sort of starting all over somehow.” Slattery and actress wife Talia Balsam will be front and center tonight at the Emmys. “Our 12-year-old son Harry is coming with this, he’s excited-but who knows what will happen? I’ve lost three years in a row now, so I’m used to this. It’s good to be asked. What do they say the saddest two words in the English language is “what party?”
Jon Cryer brought wife Lisa and famous mom Gretchen Cryer. As for Charlie Sheen, he told Leah: “It’s all good now. Ashton is great, Charlie is moving on.”
Leah reports: “Everywhere you looked nominees were chatting with each other. Aaron Sorkin and Brenda Strong, Beau Bridges with Bruce Dern, Kathy Bates chatting with Alfre Woodard. Slattery was flattered: “ I just got winked at from Florence Henderson. Made my night.”

Charlie Sheen’s castmate doesn’t know what went wrong

HollywoodNews.com: Charlie Sheen’s meltdown during his time on ‘Two and a Half Men’ apparently even shocked his castmate Jon Cryer.
Cryer recently told David Letterman that everything is still a mystery to him, states UsMagazine.com. “We didn’t see where it was going. This has never happened before,” Cryer said about things getting out of control very quickly.
But, even though Sheen did attack Cryer in his rants, Cryer has no hard feelings: “I love him, he’s a great friend.”

Chuck Lorre solidifying “Men” plans without Charlie Sheen

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: “Two and a Half Men” co-creator Chuck Lorre is taking the first steps to salvage his smash-hit sitcom in the wake of “Hurricane” Charlie Sheen … and it looks like Sheen will have no part to play in what comes next.
Instead, Lorre reportedly is planning to reboot the sitcom with original star Jon Cryer and a new character who has yet to be revealed. THR reports that Lorre “is said to have presented close associates and ‘Men’ co-star Jon Cryer with the plan, and the studio and network are aware of his intentions.”
Meanwhile, THR goes on to add that while CBS has not officially renewed the show for a ninth season, talent reps “say that Warners has quietly begun pursuing an actor to appear in the series next season,” and that speculation “has ranged from the plausible to the peculiar, with names from Woody Harrelson to Jeremy Piven to Bob Saget being bandied about.”

‘Two and a Half Men’ crew reportedly not on Charlie Sheen’s side

HollywoodNews.com: Charlie Sheen seems to not be able to stop doing damage as it sounds like he has now upset much of the ‘Two and a Half Men’ crew.
Although he has since sort of apologized for the comments, Sheen’s attack on costar Jon Cryer was apparently not received well by others, states RadarOnline.com. Sheen claimed that Cryer would forget lines and ruin scenes.
However, the crew is reportedly backing Cryer at this point. The crew is allegedly saying that Cryer was very professional on the set and well-liked by those working with him.
Do you think there is any truth to what Charlie Sheen said?
