HollywoodNews.com: Katy Perry is known for her outrageous outfits, rising pop singles, and lately, her newly fit figure. Perry’s wedding to comedian Russell Brand is just a few months away, and the singer has not been wasting any time getting her body into amazing shape.
Celebrities are notorious for whipping their bodies into shape in the blink of an eye. What are their secrets? I have put together an easy five-step program that will help anyone shed unwanted pounds and look as good as any celebrity.
Secret One. Find an activity that you like and do it for at least 25 minutes, five times a week. Perry says, “I hate working out, but I love jumping rope. There’s a rhythm. It’s like dancing.” Actress, Katherine Heigl also loves to jump rope. Jumping rope may not be for everyone, but it’s easy to stay motivated when you like what you’re doing. Pop superstar Usher starts his workouts with 20 minutes of meditating, and then 30 minutes of static stretching. Flexibility of the mind and body are keys to a long and healthy life, so Usher is doing something that will not only keep him fit, but keep him grounded and happy. If you find something you enjoy, you’ll be more likely to stick to it and get the results you want.
Secret Two. Replace sweet drinks and diet drinks with water… lots of water. Your body is two-thirds water and you should try to replenish it daily to keep yourself alkaline. I tell all my patients to drink at least 2/3 ounces of water per body pound. This helps keep your metabolism up, is the best detox anyone can do, and also helps to reduce body pains. Stress, food additives and preservatives are toxic to your body and lead to acidity. Acidity is very detrimental to all your body functions, including your immune system. If you don’t like water alone, try adding some lemon or drinking coconut water. Coconut water is loaded with electrolytes and minerals, has about 16 total calories, and is fat-free. In fact, one cup of coconut water contains more electrolytes than most sports drinks and more potassium than a banana. There are many benefits to drinking water, but I do have one warning: do not drink more than 3/4 oz of water per body pound because it can dilute your electrolytes.
Secret Three. Eat at least five times [...]

Getting Taylor Lautner’s washboard abs isn’t far out of reach, according to Jordan Yuam, Lautner’s personal trainer and founder of Jordan’s Virtual Fit Club. To get a cut stomach, you need to eat right, focus on doing the exercises properly and give your body time to recover.
EAT WITH YOUR ABS IN MIND
“Eating is 90% of getting the abs to come in,” says Yuam. Its true no matter how strong or defined the muscles are, if they are covered by a layer of fat no high intensity training program alone will work. To get a lean muscle mass, you must put down the cheeseburgers and alcohol, stay away from processed foods and try substituting green tea for your coffee.
Recently on Oprah, Dr Perricone stated “if you just replaced coffee with green tea, you could lose 10 pounds in six weeks.” Green Tea helps stabilize your blood sugar, is a powerful antioxidant and will help burn fat.
Food preservatives, diet sodas, and processed foods increase toxicity and lead to weight gain, while interfering with weight loss. “Eat foods that are organic, especially organic meat,” Yuam said.
“If you eat the right foods your body will improve its metabolic rate,” says Yuam. In Fact, restricting calories, especially protein, will only slow down your metabolism and won’t help you loss weight over the long term. Muscles are made of protein and the more you have, the more calories you burn, so don’t skip the protein.
The best way to monitor your food intake is to keep a daily food and weight journal, and then you create accountability for the food choices you’re making.
BREATHE AND FOCUS FOR A FASTER SIX PACK
When exercising, breathing and focusing on working your abdominal muscles will help your six-pack appear faster. Slowly and fully exhale when contracting the abdominals in each exercise. During his workouts, Lautner honed in on his abs for about 15-20 minutes every other day with intense concentration and Yaum made sure he focused.
The exercises that Lautner did to create his six-pack were tailored especially for his body type. You can try a few of them yourself:
1) The Hanging Leg Raise. Grab a chin up bar overhand and hang with your feet together and your knees bent slightly. Then, bend your knees to lift your thighs all the way up to your chest. When the front of your thighs reach [...]
HollywoodNews.com: Justin Bieber may be small and only sixteen years of age, but that isn’t stopping the tween sensation from wanting to bulk up. He’s already swooned over the ladies with his side swished hair that always seems to lay perfect and his rosy red lips, but it looks like the singer wants to put some definition into his body.
The pop star has hired trainer Jordan Yuam, who helped Taylor Lautner buff up for his role in “Twilight: New Moon,” reports National Enquirer. Apparently his round the world schedule won’t be a problem for the tween. “Since Justin is often on the road, he and Jordan connect for supervised workouts online through iChat or Skype.” Apparently he has already started lifting weights and is going to go on a “high-protein diet rich in good fats from nuts and avocados.”
Watch out ladies, your tween superstar is about to become a man.
