Taylor Swift’s wedding crashing confirmed by Kathie Lee Gifford

HollywoodNews.com: It sounds like Taylor Swift might actually be a wedding crasher as the story of her crashing a Kennedy wedding has been confirmed by Kathie Lee Gifford.
Mother of the bride, Victoria Gifford Kennedy, recently commented that Swift crashed the wedding despite being asked to leave, states UsMagazine.com. Gifford is Victoria’s stepmother as she is married to her father, Frank Gifford.
“The truth is, because I was there, Vicki’s account is accurate,” Gifford commented about Swift being asked to leave twice after showing up with Conor Kennedy.
Swift’s rep previously commented that she was invited and welcomed by the bride.

“Hot in Cleveland” begins season 3 production

HollywoodNews.com: Hot in Cleveland has been a real guilty pleasure for me and plenty of other folks ever since it premiered on TV Land in 2010.
The TV Land sitcom is a solid hit that has given 89-year-old Betty White yet another show – and another Emmy!
It also stars three other sitcom vets who know how to deliver the laughs: Wendi Malick, Valerie Bertinelli and Jane Leeves.
Production on the show’s third season began this week with new episodes set to premiere on Nov.30.
TV Land has announced an impressive roster of guest stars for the upcoming episodes: Kathie Lee Gifford (“Today With Kathie Lee & Hoda”), Sandra Bernhard (“Roseanne”), Laura San Giacomo“Just Shoot Me”), Gilles Marini (“Sex and the City”) and many more. Sean Hayes (“Will & Grace”), who serves as executive producer of the show, will also guest star.

HollywoodNews.com: Although the public isn’t being informed yet, it seems that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have set their wedding date.
Family friend Kathie Lee Gifford revealed that she has been told a specific date for the major event, states PopEater. It is being rumored that the date is in the beginning of August so that they can wed and honeymoon before basketball season starts up for Kris.
However, considering that time isn’t too far away, Kim better get going as she reportedly doesn’t even have a dress picked out.

Lisa Rinna would love to fill Regis Philbin’s spot

HollywoodNews.com: Back when Kathie Lee Gifford’s spot next to Regis Philbin needed to be filled, Lisa Rinna was up for the job. Now, it seems she’d like to be up for filling his spot now.
Rinna recently revealed that she thinks it would be a nice change to have another woman sitting next to Kelly Ripa, states PopEater.
“I think it’s actually smart to put a lady in there [with] Kelly. It would be fun to co-host with her, at least see what the chemistry would be like cause we know sometimes women get along, sometimes they don’t,” Rinna commented, adding that Regis really can’t be replaced.

Carrie Keagan Wants More ‘Jump Start Live’ Despite Challenges

By Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith
hollywoodnews.com: Carrie Keagan admits it hasn’t been easy, adapting to a morning show schedule with her VH 1 “Jump Start Live” morning variety show — but the energetic blond internet star would like to keep rolling with it beyond its current two-week run just the same.
“I came ‘cross country for the show, so getting used to the New York time zone was part of the challenge. I was getting up and I was like, ‘Whaaat?’” relates Keagan — who is known to internet viewers as the lead anchor, writer, and producer for No Good TV (inlcuding the shows “Up Close W/ Carrie Keagan” and “In Bed With Carrie Keagan”), with more than a billion views online. ”And I’m looking out on Times Square and it’s blizzarding, which is definitely something I’m not used to,” she goes on.
Then, too, she declared that she would refrain from dropping the F-bomb on the show — but admits that no sooner had she made the commitment, than she caught herself explaining a popular internet acronym to Aaron Eckhardt that included the flaming word. Other than that, however, her first week of the new show went off without a hitch, and “We were all just celebrating and hugging and jumping up and down,”
As far as being on in the a.m., “The vibe of our show is so relaxed and easy-going, I think we could be on any time of day,” she says. “Our ‘Morning Buzz’ is a hangover cure for people just tuning in.”
The plan is for “Jump Start Live” to help promote this Friday’s (11/14) Critics Choice Movie Awards on VH1. After that, Carrie and company are waiting to see if there’ll be an order for more “Live” shows. She hopes so, although she admits, “I don’t know how Kathie Lee (Gifford) and Hoda (Kotb) do it with this kind of schedule. Do you go out on weekends and stay up late, or do you go to bed early to stay in synch with the rest of the week?”

Can “The Addams Family” overcome the critics?

BY ROGER FRIEDMAN
It was a long time coming, but “The Addams Family” opened last night on Broadway. The reviews are scathing, and the question is: Can a show with millions in pre-sales overcome the critics?
“The Addams Family” took in nearly $1.4 million last week in previews. It was third at the box office behind “Wicked” and “The Lion King.” A new show, not even opened, such a hit? It’s never happened before.
You could see why at last night’s premiere. Stars Nathan Lane and Bebe Neuwirth were met with adulatory applause from an audience that was part celebrity and part real people. Among the stars who showed: Matthew Broderick (with a bodyguard no less) plus Bob and Lynne Balaban, Nora Ephron and Nick Pileggi, Kathie Lee Gifford, Hoda Kodb, Tony Roberts, Tova Feldshuh, and “Ray” director Taylor Hackford.
The crowd loved the show, as did the “real” audience I saw it with a couple of weeks ago. But “The Addams Family” is taking a drubbing from theater critics. And they’re right. The show is a mess, from top to bottom. The songs by Andrew Lippa are so awful that one of them includes a comedy line about “Schindler’s List.” Ouch! What was Lippa thinking? The songs do nothing to drive the story along; many of them are just self contained, with terrible lyrics. A couple of them sound like Meat Loaf’s cast offs.
