Julianne Moore becomes new face of L’Oreal

HollywoodNews.com: Julianne Moore is about to be a little busier as she has been named the newest face of L’Oreal.
Moore will be the new Global Brand Ambassador for L’Oreal Paris starting in 2013, states UsMagazine.com. She will reportedly be involved in ads for the product Cellular Renaissance.
“I’m an actual user of the brand and it’s hard not to be. Every modern woman shops everywhere for beauty, but for me it’s mostly the airport or the drugstore. It’s nice to be promoting something that is accessible to everyone,” Moore said about the partnership.

Beyonce’s latest album cover gives way to controversy

HollywoodNews.com: Beyonce certainly isn’t a constantly controversial celebrity, but her latest album cover is apparently giving way to a few eyebrow raises.
New images of the singer are out to re-promote her album, ’4,’ but Beyonce appears very pale with blonde hair, states RadarOnline.com. The singer is pretty unrecognizable on the cover as she appears white.
Beyonce has been at the center of this kind of controversy before as a 2008 L’Oreal advertisement seemed to have her skin lightened up as well.

L’Oreal Announces New Ambassador: Aimee Mullins

While attending Georgetown University on a full academic scholarship, Aimee embarked upon a stellar athletic career: she was the first woman with prosthetic legs to compete in top-level NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) competitions. She competed in the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, as well as the long jump, and set world records in all three events. In 2007, she became the president of the Women’s Sports Foundation, being an honored symbol for all women athletes in the USA.
However, she did not stop there: she turned her focus to the world of fashion. In 1999, she became a muse to British fashion designer Alexander McQueen, and walked the runway in his London show using intricately carved wooden prosthetics. This cultural milestone was recognized by many, and People magazine included her in their list of the “World’s 50 Most Beautiful People.”
She credits her unique body for her ability to develop a sense of personal beauty and glamour. Her strength and determination were supported by an active imagination, one in which she claimed autonomy over her own identity, and indeed changed how the world would come to view her?as an entirely capable woman.

Gwen Stefani is fascinating. She has been a member of the band No Doubt since they met in high school and began playing music in their garage. A composer, songwriter and singer, Gwen Stefani has given a voice to millions of girls across the world. No Doubt has sold more than 30 million copies of their albums including Tragic Kingdom, Return of Saturn and Rock Steady. The band received many Grammy nominations and won two in 2003.
Gwen’s icon status continued to grow with the release of her Grammy-nominated side project Love. Angel. Music. Baby. which came out in 2004. Stefani has just been named one of the new faces of L’Oreal Paris, states People. Stefani’s first campaign will reportedly be for Infallible Le Rouge lip color.

Jennifer Lopez becomes the global ambassador for L’Oreal

HollywoodNews.com: Jennifer Lopez can add another job to her growing list as she has just been named the global brand ambassador for L’Oreal Paris.
Lopez will reportedly first be working with the EverSleek products that are used for smoothing hair, states Just Jared. Lopez has reportedly signed a multi-million dollar contract with the company.
The singer and actress is also working on her American Idol gig and a Kohl’s line with her husband Marc Anthony.
