Lindsay Lohan NOH8 shoot

HollywoodNews.com: MARRIAGE-EQUALITY: Wouldn’t it be great, now that Lindsay Lohan is no longer under home confinement, if she stayed out of trouble for awhile – or forever? Probably not gonna happen as this former movie star (Mean Girls, Freaky Friday, The Parent Trap) has a self-destructive streak that you can only hope she will grow out of.
Anyway, one positive thing that Lindsay did after being ordered by a judge to not leave her home because of a parole violation was pose for the NOH8 photo project for marriage equality.
Lohan once had a tumultuous romantic relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson.

Lindsay Lohan gets well wishes from Tina Fey

HollywoodNews.com: Not many people are backing Lindsay Lohan right now, but one of her former costars is offering support and hope for the young actress.
Tina Fey, who starred in ‘Mean Girls’ with Lindsay, commented that Lindsay is “great” and she hopes she is able to get well soon, states PopEater. While it would have been easy for Fey to make a few jokes, she kept things rather serious and simple.
“I think that’s good [that she's in rehab],” Fey commented when discussing the matter. Let’s hope it all gets through to Lindsay eventually.

Tina Fey passed on ‘Mean Girls 2′

HollywoodNews.com: Tina Fey regrets that she isn’t on board with “Mean Girls 2.”
The actress-writer adapted Michael Wiseman’s novel “Queen Bees and Wannabes,” which Mark Waters directed.
Fey turned down offers from Paramount to make a sequel. Instead, “Mean Girls 2” became a straight-to-DVD production, which is being lensed currently.
“It’s funny, because now it’s shooting and I don’t really have anything to do with it,” Fey tells Digital Spy, “I haven’t read it or anything like that. Paramount was very generous and solicitous with me for several years, saying, ‘Would you like to do it?’ And at the time, I was like, ‘They should just let it be what it is!’”
Maiara Walsh (“Desperate Housewives”), Nicole Gale Anderson, Jennifer Stone and Meaghan Jette Martin are starring in “Mean Girls 2.” The plot, similar to the 2004 installment, follows two girls who must contend with the popular click, ‘The Plastics.’
Though designed as a starring vehicle for Lindsay Lohan, the first “Mean Girls” propelled the careers of Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried and Lizzy Caplan.

Disney stars cast in ‘Mean Girls 2′

By Whitney Milam
HollywoodNews.com: The Plastics are back, colder and harder and shinier than ever, in director Melanie Mayron’s (“Naked Brothers Band”, “Wizards of Waverly Place”) straight-to-video sequel to “Mean Girls”. Disney starlets Jennifer Stone (“Wizards of Waverly Place”), Meaghan Jette Martin (Camp Rock), and Nicole Anderson (“JONAS L.A.”) are already signed to the project, and now Maiara Walsh of “Cory in the House” (pictured above) has confirmed on Twitter that she’ll be playing the leader of the Plastics in this sequel reboot, which reportedly revolves around Martin’s character in the film–a new girl named Jo–being paid to befriend outsider Abby, and the two girls teaming up together to take down the Plastics until Abby discovers her friendship has been bought, with predictably disastrous consequences.
What do you think of this attempted sequel to one of the great classics of our time? So fetch, or not ever going to happen? And with Cady Heron’s real-life counterpart now facing 90 days of jail time, is it inevitable to wonder where these fresh-faced new replacements will be themselves in five years?
Whatever, I’m getting cheese fries.

Michael Lohan doesn’t want Lindsay to play Lovelace

By HollywoodNews.com
Hollywoodnews.com: Michael Lohan, papa to Lindsay Lohan, is upset that she’ll be playing porn star Linda Lovelace in the Nu Image/Millennium Films production “Inferno.”
“She did Parent Trap, Confessions [of a Teenage Drama Queen], Freaky Friday, Mean Girls, Just My Luck and Herbie. And you know what? Georgia Rule was a fantastic movie. People don’t give her credit for it, but that was one of her best acting jobs. But I mean, she started with Parent Trap and now this? Why? Who makes these decisions?,” Michael snapped at US Magazine after being asked whether the role will hurt her career, “If I was there, it would never happen, believe me. There’s no way to resurrect your career after that. So many people have come to me with offers for Lindsay for great family-style films, general audience kind of releases, but you know … whatever.”
Obviously, he never heard of a little dicey film about the porn industry called “Boogie Nights” which earned three Oscar noms, launched the acting career of Mark Wahlberg and propelled director Paul Thomas Anderson.
“The girl is such an amazing, talented, gifted and loving person,” he told Us . “She’s been consumed by the people, the lifestyle, but you know what? Don’t give up hope. I am telling you now, if she gets the help that she needs, she is going to be right back on top, just like Robert Downey Jr.”

Amen to that Michael, in the mean time, make sure to keep your nose clean away from the adult industry, hats off to Perez Hilton.
