Bethenny Frankel dishes on how to get and stay naturally thin

HollywoodNews.com: Bethenny Frankel is not only the star of her own reality show “Bethenny Gets Married?,” but she also has just released a new workout DVD entitled “Body by Bethenny.”
She recently sat down with TV.com to share how she stays in shape despite her hectic schedule. She said, “People think I work out every day and do some psychotic drastic workout. What I do is key yoga moves a few days a week, but I’m consistent. I wanted to show people what I really do and that it doesn’t have to be extreme or overwhelming.” She adds that her DVD is “yoga but not a spiritual class, and not too easy nor too challenging. It works for all levels and can be toned down or jacked up for each person or your mood that day. This is absolutely for beginners and advanced yogis. I’ve been doing yoga for 20 years, but some days I can’t bend over.”
In regards to her “Skinnygirl” book series, she dishes that “‘Naturally Thin’ has helped thousands of people to lose incredible amounts of weight” and that she wrote it because she “found the key to unlock people’s thinness without ever dieting again.”
At the end of the day, she says that finding a balance between eating, working out and holding a job is the key. She says, “Don’t be stressed or frustrated. Take a moment to plan. Never binge or diet. Understand that being ‘naturally thin’ becomes part of your fiber so you never need to be stressed or overwhelmed. You can only do what you can but make sure you are doing what you can when you can.”

Sheryl Crow contributes to a CD to raise funds for kids yoga programs

HollywoodNews.com: Grammy winner musician Sheryl Crow has contributed towards a CD to raise funds for providing in-school kids yoga programs, according to reports.
Titled “Yoga Revolution”, its other contributing artists include Sarah McLachlan, Sting, Ziggy Marley, Peter Gabriel, Seal, Michael Franti, Krishna Das, Anjelique Kidjo, Guru Singh, Donna De Lory, and Anoushka Shankar.
Hindu statesman Rajan Zed has applauded the efforts of Crow and other musicians to promote yoga for schoolchildren. In a statement in Nevada (USA) today, he urged other Hollywood and sports celebrities to come forward to help incorporate yoga in the lives of youth and children.
Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, also urged public schools to include yoga in their curriculum. Yoga was a mental and physical discipline whose traces went back to around 2,000 BCE, he pointed out.
Rajan Zed quoted Patanjali, author of the basic text Yoga Sutra, who said that yoga was a methodical effort to attain perfection, through the control of the different elements of human nature, physical and psychical.
The Yoga Revolution CD is reportedly a diverse 14-track mix including Irish folk, rock anthem, bilingual world music, 5,000 year-old Vedic chants over Hip Hop beats, reworked kirtan, etc.
