Who are the new people in ‘True Blood’s’ neighborhood?

Hollywoodnews.com: There’s a slew of fresh faces in season 3 of “True Blood.”
So as not to get lost, here’s a rundown, courtesy of IO9.com.
WEREWOLVES
Alcide Heveraux (Joe Manganiello). He’s been the most talked about werewolf character leading up to season 3. Who is Manganiello? He’s a 33-year old actor who has cut his teeth in acting, initially as Peter Parker’s (Tobey Maguire) nemesis Flash Thompson in “Spider-Man.” Also, Manganiello, played the best friend, Brad, to Jason Segel’s character in “How I Met Your Mother.” His alter-ego on “True Blood” is apparently the gentle werewolf who assists Sookie in her quest to find Bill. Apparently, he really gives her a tour of his hairy-moonlit world. Alcide also looks out for her. No word if a Bella-Jacob affair a la “Twilight” is in the works here. Alcide is also a member of the werewolf biker gang.
Coot (Grant Bowler) is the new leader of the new werewolf biker gang, Fuck You Crew.
Debbie Pelt (Brit Morgan) is a Werelynx and use to date Alcide. She doesn’t really like that Sookie’s in the picture. She’s seeing Coot now, but has enough cajones to kill, just like a vampire.
VAMPIRES
Russell Edgington (Denis O’Hare) is the King of Mississippi in the southern vampire clan. He’s, oh, 3,000 years old. He is suppose host Bill in a future episode. He has money, class, but is evil through and through.
Franklin Mott (James Frain) is the supposed new love interest of broken-hearted Tara, who watched her demon-possessed b.f. Eggs get gunned down last season. Mott supposedly isn’t playing with a full deck.
Talbot (Theo Alexander) is Edgington’s vampire companion and lover. Originally, he was portrayed as human in the books. We’re not sure how Alan Ball will paint him on TV.
SHIFTERS
Melinda Mickens Tommy (J. Smith-Cameron) plays Sam Merlotte’s Momma. For non-watchers, Merlotte runs the local bar in Bon Temps where a lot of stuff goes down. It’s not entirely clear if she shifts or not, but we’ll put her here since shifting runs in the Mickens family. Sam is her adopted son.
Tommy Mickens (Marshall Allman) is Sam’s poor half brother. Shifters change into different animals.
OTHER BEINGS
Ruby Jean Reynolds (Alfre Woodard) is Lafayette’s crazy mother. She’s hates a number of minorities. Woodard […]
