Nicki Minaj’s latest music video being banned from BET

HollywoodNews.com: Nicki Minaj likes to push limits and it seems she may have gone too far as her newest music video is being banned from airing on BET.
BET has announced that they will not air the video for her song “Stupid H*e,” although the network has not explained why they are not showing the video, states TMZ. It is rumored that the video was judged to be too explicit for TV.
The video does show a number of almost naked female figures which could be part of the problem.

Kristin Chenoweth stands up for what she believes is right

HollywoodNews.com: The lovely and oh-so talented Kristin Chenoweth has a new album out called Some Lessons Learned and I hope it’s a huge seller.
The Tony and Emmy award winning star is a staunch Christian who is also beloved in the gay community for her unwavering support.
She talks to The Advocate about that and more in a new interview. Here are some excerpts:
You have said, “Just because I’m Christian doesn’t mean I don’t question things — God gave us a brain for a reason.” What would you ask people who cite Christianity as their justification for passing laws that discriminate against people?
I would ask, “What would Jesus do?” [Laughs] It sounds so cliché and Pollyanna-ish, but I have a feeling if he were on the earth today, he wouldn’t be walking around saying, “You’re going to hell” and “You’re wrong, you’re wrong, you’re wrong.” I think he’d be accepting and loving. I always use this as an example: What would I do if it was a sin to be short? That’s the way God made me, so what could I do? Let’s see, I could wear heels, I could tease my hair, and maybe on a good day I could be 5’1″. But the bottom line is, I’m 4’11″ and that’s the way I was put together. And that’s what I believe about homosexuals. And I love, love that this has become a purpose in my life. It’s one that I didn’t ever expect. “What would Jesus do?” That’s my answer.

Tyler Hilton releases music video for “This World Will Turn Your Way”

HollywoodNews.com: Tyler Hilton had a brief stint on CW’s “One Tree Hill,” but since then he’s been off the radar. However, he is launching himself back into the music scene with the release of his music video for “This World Will Turn Your Way” off his upcoming album, “The Storms We Share,” out later this year.
Hilton told Popeater, “This song is the most blatantly hopeful song I’ve ever written. And though it might even border on naive, that’s the only way I’m able to see a situation sometimes: stubbornly optimistic. So what better way to express that visually than with a kid making himself into a superhero instead of waiting around for one?”
