Adam Lambert gives heartfelt speech before performance

HollywoodNews.com: While closing out his Glam Nation tour, Lambert decided to drop some knowledge on the audience before saying goodbye and busting into a heart-wrenching rendition of Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come.”
Before belting into the tune, Lambert had this to say, “The thing about the song is, it’s amazing that it was originally intended for civil rights, and ladies and gentlemen, if you haven’t noticed, the gay and lesbian community is in a civil-rights movement right now.” Lambert seems to have taken the message to heart and adopted it in his own struggles, a move that his fans really seem to embrace.
Lambert then discussed incidents in his career that have been difficult to overcome because of people’s prejudice, but the singer was quick to offer his support to people in those situations, even if it was a little vulgar. “The only reason I bring that up is, if anybody tells you ‘No,’ tell them, ‘F**k you.’”
