Scarlett Johansson won’t be attending Marine Corps Ball

HollywoodNews.com: Unfortunately, unlike Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake, Scarlett Johansson won’t be able to attend the Marine Corps Ball.
Johansson received an invitation from Sgt. Dustin L. Williams, but her schedule will allegedly keep her from going, states Hollyscoop. “[U]nfortunately due to prior commitments I will not be able to attend the Ball with you this year but I am sending you a case of Moet and Chandon with gratitude,” the actress commented in a statement.

Mila Kunis too busy for Marine ball?

By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: It started off as a positive, headline-grabbing boost for Mila Kunis. But her potential date with an eager Marine could be a PR nightmare in the making.
The “Friends With Benefits” starlet, who accepted a date request while promoting her movie on Fox News, might have to bail on the Marine Corps Ball in North Carolina on November 18 because of her busy schedule, FOX now reports. Sgt. Scott Moore asked Kunis to attend via YouTube, and when the actress saw the clip, she accepted. Now she might back down.
“According to one report, Kunis will indeed be in production in late November, so she’s trying to meet up with Sgt. Moore for a private get-together at an undisclosed location at an undisclosed time,” FOX reports. “But E! Online is reporting that while Kunis does have schedule conflicts, she and her posse are doing all they can to organize her production schedule so that she and Sgt. Moore can attend the highly anticipated ball together.”
Kunis needs to make this happen. While she’s no doubt very busy, to back out of this highly-publicized event at this stage would be a disaster for her PR image.
I’m still betting she goes. If her team is smart, they’ll demand she shows. It doesn’t matter how busy she might be on that day. To not show up would do far more damage to her career than any day of “work,” whatever it may be.
