Kardashians launch bling to avoid soiree sting

By Staff
How hot are the Kardashians?
So hot that when they show up at a mall, you have to call the fire marshall.
While the sprinklers weren’t set off, a ton of fans stampeded Nordstrom’s store in Newport Beach, CA to catch a glimpse of the siblings as they held a press conference for the launch of their jewelry line with Virgins Saints & Angels.
However, the whole jewelry launch might be a means to save face for the glam girls so says the Examiner: A controversy stirred online when the media found out the siblings would be hosting a lavish party in Las Vegas for Kourtney Kardashian’s 31st birthday – the same day as the anniversary of the Armenian genocide, April 24.
According to SoCal paper The Daily Pilot, the Kardashian sisters channeled their Armenian ancestors in their jewelry collection from a religious cross to an Armenian star.
“Our father (Robert) is Armenian; we are fourth-generation Armenians. We didn’t grow up speaking the language, but we had a strong Armenian presence in our lives,” said Kim Kardashian.
The new Kardashian bling collection debuted at Nordstrom’s Trend Boutique on Saturday, and it is scheduled to ship to other Nordstrom Trend boutiques in the next two weeks.
