The Recording Academy ® — the organization internationally known for the GRAMMY Awards®— will present its 2013 GRAMMYs on the Hill ® Awards in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday, April 17 at the Hamilton . Adele Will NOT Sing at Golden Globe Awards

Just so we’re all on the same page: Adele will perform “Skyfall” on the Academy Awards show on February 24th– only. She will simply appear, but not sing, on Sunday’s Golden Globes.
I told you last week that the mega-hit British singer had to choose, and that she wouldn’t sacrifice her Oscar slot for the wonky Golden Globes. The Globes are to the Oscars as the American Music Awards are to the Grammys.
Adele, a source close to her says, will arrive in Los Angeles today and remain here through the next six weeks until the Oscar show. Since Adele will be here though the Grammy Awards on February 10th, it’s likely she will show up there and maybe sing “Set Fire to the Rain” – for which she was nominated this year.
It’s unknown at this point if Adele–with her new baby in tow–will take time to explore writing or recording a new album. Her “21″ album remains a bestseller with over 10 million copies sold.

Lady Gaga plans on going quiet for a bit

HollywoodNews.com: Lady Gaga has been vocal about many things, but it sounds like she wants to take a break from talking to the press about various issues.
Gaga recently did an interview with Oprah Winfrey and revealed that she doesn’t plan on speaking to anyone else in the near future, states UsMagazine.com. “Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time,” Gaga commented.
This seemed pretty obvious as Gaga even skipped the red carpet at the Grammys this year.

Katy Perry reveals break-up song is not about Russell Brand

HollywoodNews.com: Katy Perry recently performed the break-up song “Part of Me” at the Grammys which had many wondering if it was about her soon-to-be ex-husband, Russell Brand.
Now, after many were convinced it was, Perry is speaking out about it having nothing to do with the famous actor, states People. “I wrote it two years ago, which is funny because everybody is like ‘God, it sounds so current,’” Perry revealed.
And even though the song includes lines about returning a diamond ring, the singer insists that the song and her current situation are just coincidences.

Miranda Lambert takes aim at Chris Brown at concert

HollywoodNews.com: Miranda Lambert is clearly not a Chris Brown fan as she first took to Twitter to question his performing at the Grammys, and now she is using her concerts to send him a message.
Lambert first had a problem with him performing twice at the Grammys to which she commented, “Chris Brown twice? I don’t get it. He beat on a girl … Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys.” ‘Gunpowder and Lead’ is Lambert’s song about an abused woman preparing to kill her abusive husband.
Now, she continued to get her message across at a concert when she was preparing to sing that song. Lambert then held up a poster that read, “Take Notes Chris Brown,” states TooFab.
She then told fans to get a good picture to put on Twitter because she was still not okay with what Brown had done to Rihanna in the past.

Did Katy Perry diss Russell Brand at the Grammys?

HollywoodNews.com: Although their divorce has been settled amicably, it sounds like Katy Perry is still pretty upset with her split from Russell Brand.
At the Grammys last night, Perry performed her latest song “Part of Me” but apparently changed some lyrics that make it sound like it hits a little closer to home, states RadarOnline.com. While the lyrics were allegedly originally “You can keep the dog from me/I never liked him anyway,” Perry apparently changed them to “Keep your diamond ring/In fact, you can keep everything … except for me” last night.
Other lyrics in the song reportedly went, “You chewed me up and spit me out/Like I was poison in your mouth/You took my light, you drained me down … You ripped me off, your love was cheap.”
Considering it is rumored that Brand wanted the divorce, she might have a few hard feelings in regard to him.
Do you think the song was at all about him?
