Oprah stays loyal to her co-workers
Oprah Winfrey has named her two new co-presidents of Harpo, Inc., which will be the production team behind her new show. The lucky two are “Oprah Winfrey Show” executive producer Sheri Salata and Harpo, Inc. executive vice president Erik Logan. Both will report directly to Winfrey starting at the end of May and will replace retiring Tim Bennett.
The two will be developing new program syndication as well as overseeing the new shows broadcast on the air. Winfrey released a statement regarding her decision stating, “Under Sheri and Erik’s leadership, I am confident in Harpo’s future and know that we will continue to create quality programming with compelling content for all platforms.”
We look forward to seeing what the new team will put together in the future.
