Coachella announces festival dates

Goldenvoice has made a surprise announcement and has stated that Coachella 2010 will take place from April 16-18 on the green fields of the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Usually Goldenvoice waits until January to announce the dates, but it seems they are trying to capitalize on the Christmas spending by offering Layaway tickets for purchase before Feb. 1. Also new to Coachella is the availability to purchase a camping spot 10×30 rather than previously having to purchase spots per person. An added feature is that now you will be able to park your cars in your purchased spot rather than having to park in a lot and haul all your belongings.
