Johnny Depp and Jude Law Say…

According to Screencrave, Johnny Depp and Jude Law have released the following statements regarding their involvement with Terry Gilliam’s latest film, THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS.

“He was the only player out there breathing heavy down the back of every established actors neck with a thundering and ungovernable talent that came up on you quick, hissing rather mischievously with that cheeky grin, “hey… get on out of my way boys, i’m coming through…” and does he ever!!!”

“To help finish his final piece of work was a tribute I felt compelled to make. To help Terry finish his film was an honour paid to a man I adore. I had a great time on the job. Though we were all there in remembrance, Heath’s heart pushed us with great lightness to the finish.”

THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present-day. It tells the story of Dr. Parnassus and his extraordinary ‘Imaginarium’, a travelling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom. In this captivating, explosive and wonderfully imaginative race against time, Dr. Parnassus must fight to save his daughter in a never-ending landscape of surreal obstacles – and undo the mistakes of his past once and for all!

The film stars HEATH LEDGER (Tony), CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER (Doctor Parnassus), VERNE TROYER (Percy), ANDREW GARFIELD (Anton), LILY COLE (Valentina) and TOM WAITS (Mr. Nick), with JOHNNY DEPP (Tony), COLIN FARRELL (Tony) and JUDE LAW (Tony).

Depp and Law are so defferential to Gilliam”s abilities its great to hear great actors paying such a tribute. It must have been tough for everyone after Ledger”s untimely death but his

Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Heath Ledger are all brilliant actors, and I still feel sorry for Ledgers early death. He was talented for sure.
