Jessica Biel and Emile Hirsch take on Mt. Kilimanjaro

Jessica Biel and Emile Hirsch are taking on climbing up Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s tallest peak, to raise awareness on the global water crisis. The group has now reached the 13,600 feet point and joined musicians Kenna, Lupe Fiasco, and Santigold for a singing contest. Elizabeth Gore commented to People on Biel’s performance, “Jess is doing awesome. She continues to bring levity yet seriousness at the same time. … We’ve played every game you can imagine – travel Scrabble, word games. And there is a lot of free-style rapping going on.”

The group expects to reach the summit on Jan. 12 followed by another trip to a refugee camp in Ethiopia.
