Disney-ABC TV’s Mark Pedowitz departing



Veteran ABC executive Mark Pedowitz is leaving the company after 19 years.

He is expected to set up shop at Warner Bros. TV with a first-look deal.

Pedowitz most recently was senior adviser to the office of the co-chairman, reporting to Anne Sweeney, co-chair of Disney-Media Networks and president, Disney/ABC Television Group. Before that, he was president of ABC Studios (formerly Touchstone Television.

    Good luck to him. He’s really a business affairs guy with no real creative experience so it will be interesting to see what happens.

    He can’t do any worse then those no nothing overpaid development executives at ABC whose new shows for Fall 2009 were all “STINKERS”:
    1- The Deep End
    2- Eastwick
    3- FlashForward
    4- The Forgotten
    5- “V”
    Five “LOSER” shows that he had nothing to do with.
