Starz to Unveil “The Pillars of the Earth”

Starz Entertainment has acquired the rights to TANDEM Communications’ television adaptation of Ken Follett’s “The Pillars of the Earth” which spans eight hours. The series is produced by Tandem Communications, MUSE Entertainment, and SCOTT FREE Films. It is directed by 3 time DGA winner Sergio Mimica-Gezzan whose credits include “Heroes” and “Into the West.”

The cast includes Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Matthew Macfadyen, Eddie Redmayne, Hayley Atwell, Sarah Parish, Donald Sutherland, Alison Pill, and Gordon Pinsent.
