BY LINELLE SCHULTZ
The Michael Jackson estate has just signed the biggest recording deal in history for his 10 projects over seven years. The $200 million guaranteed contract will run through 2017 and could grow to be worth up to $250 million if certain conditions are met. Among the releases that will come out in November is the never-before-released Jackson recordings, which is sure to create a frenzy among fans.
Other possible plans to expand the collection are talks of a video game, a DVD compilation of videos, a re-release of “Off the Wall” with unreleased material. People familiar with the deal have stated that before the King of Pop passed away, he had expressed how he wanted to re-release the 1979 album.
