Exclusive: Jim Bigham, director of ‘For Once In My Life’ – Hollywood In Ten
Jim Bigham hoped that participating in this year’s South By Southwest Film Festival would help his documentary, “For Once In My Life,” find its audience. It’s safe to say he succeeded. Bigham’s film, which details the musical program at Goodwill Industries in South Florida, won the Audience Award in the Documentary program at Tuesday night’s awards ceremony. The band — which consists of Goodwill employees with mental and physical disabilities — was even on hand to perform, helping Bigham celebrate his victory. Days after the win, Bigham spoke with HollywoodNews.com about partaking in SXSW, the triumph of the Goodwill band, and his film’s (brighter) future. Listen to the interview below:

This looks like a great film. I hope they release it worldwide
