Poreotix wins “America’s Best Dance Crew” Season 5

We’ve been following these dance crews for week after week, seeing what creative routines they could come up with that would continue to impress the judges and fans across the nation. In this week’s finale, the Westminster, California robot group “Poreotix” came through to take home the championship trophy and $100,000 prize. They beat out the rival group “Blueprint Cru,” which came down to the final votes.

People reports that member Justin Valles stated, “It’s kind of crazy because we were a crew that really came from nothing to something. We were practicing in Dumbo’s [Matt Nguyen’s] living room and we’re finally here. We won ABDC! And we’re the youngest crew to be a champion and it’s really a trip for us.”

Judge JC Chasez was not surprised that they came through as the winning dance group. He said, “They really won over America with their personalities. They found different dimensions and different gears for their performances and that’s what I appreciated.”

Lil Mama added saying, “There is definitely talent all over the U.S. One of my favorite crews this season was Jungle Boogie. Oh my God, they’re fire! All crews had improvement, but Poreotix prevailed.”

It will be interesting to see what gigs they get now that they have been named season 5 champs.
