“Glee’s” Lea Michele to Announce Tony Nominations with Jeff Daniels

“Glee” has not only become TV’s hottest new show, but it has launched its young cast into instant stardom. The show hands down has the most supportive fans, many who have waited hours to get an autograph from the cast. And, while we are all gearing up for the Madonna episode of “Glee” to air this week, finally there is other news to celebrate surrounding our favorite show. “Glee’s” leading lady, Lea Michele, has had her share of the Broadway scene before being cast for “Glee.” Her most famous role was as the lead in “Spring Awakening,” from which she earned herself a Drama Desk Award nomination from this performance.

Now, according to The Insider, she will return back to Broadway for a night to announce the nominees for the Tony Awards alongside Jeff Daniels. The nominations will air live on May 4th online at www.tonyawards.com at 8:30am ET.
