Marie Osmond’s son made three suicide attempts
Before his fatal jump off a Los Angeles apartment balcony in February, Marie Osmond’s 18-year-old son had attempted suicide on three other occasions, according to a close friend. Family members said Michael Bryan had spent time in rehab and was suffering from depression.
Ruthann Clawson, a close friend of Michael Bryan’s, said that Michael had been suffering from depression because of “bad school grades and a recent visit from a former girlfriend,” according to TMZ.
Clawson received several text messages from Michael on the night of his death, including a final one reading “I have a letter for you on my bed.” When she got there, he was already dead.
Michael Bryan’s death was recently ruled a suicide without any drugs in his system, according to the autopsy report.
