Kim Kardashian had a bad romance

It may appear on E’s “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” that bombshell Kim Kardashian is just a single 29-year old gal, brokenhearted by her New Orleans Saints b.f. Reggie Bush and laying about at home in Calabasas, CA.

In fact, she’s lived practically a full life – a rather torturous one.

According to the New York Daily News, Kardashian’s first husband Damon Thomas use to abuse her. She was 19 when she first eloped with him in 2000 before divorcing in 2003.

Thomas is big time music producer whose firm Underdog Entertainment jazzed up the soundtrack to the 2006 Broadway adaptation film “Dreamgirls” in addition to working with singers Pink and Katherine McPhee.

From the court papers, it sounds like Thomas used Kardashian like a ragdoll, attempting to strangle her in fits of rage. His violent side would go off the hook due to his jealousy over Kardashian’s texting.

“He became enraged and punched me in the face. My face was bruised and swollen as a result,” Kardashian states in court papers. “I thought about calling the police but was afraid and decided not to do so.”

Thomas lorded over Kardashian, coercing her to quit jobs and stopped her from communicating with friends.

“Damon decided what we would do and when we would do it. He was very much the “King of the castle,'” she said. “He said he wanted to know where I was at all times.”

In addition, Thomas tried to come between Kardashian and her beloved family, but alas blood as we know is thicker than water. In attempt to brand the Kardashian siblings as whores, Thomas went so far as to show naked pictures of the girls to the reality star’s late father, Robert Kardashian.

Kardashian is seeing better days, launching a Bebe fashion line with her sisters. If you want to meet her this weekend, head to Nordstrom at Newport Beach, CA’s Fashion Island where she’ll be tubthumping her jewelry line for Virgins Saints & Angels.
