Shia LaBeouf bites the ‘Transformer’ hand that feeds him Sure, “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” made $836 million worldwide and probably has taken care of several real estate amenities of its leading star Shia LaBeouf.

Nonetheless, LaBeouf is lambasting the previous sequel at the Cannes Film Festival.

“When I saw the second movie [in the series], I wasn’t impressed with what we did,” said LaBeouf, who’s promoting “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.”

Dude, save your opinions for when you’re 70 and its safe to look back and bash your credits. “Transformers” is your franchise LaBeouf – protect it. Don’t destroy it.

Page Six summarized the story.

“There were some really wild stunts in it, but the heart was gone,” adds LaBeouf. The actor vouches that “Transformers 3” will “restore the human element that got lost in the second movie.”

Um, dude, the movie is about cars that turn into robots, not cars that turn into Shakespearean androids.

I think your way off here… He is protecting his franchise by saying, yes, revenge wasn’t great (which is being kind to what actual fans said about it) but in the 3rd installment, they promise to make it better. Bay basically said the same thing. Cars that turn into robots was cool in the first one, but without descent story, robots and revealing close ups of megan fox can only hold a franchise up so long.

Shia has my mad respect. He’s saying what everyone knows. Bay has trashed Transformers for most long time fans. All that money has Hasbro and retailers focused on nothing else. If 3 sucks, everyone looses.
