Nicolas Cage eats animals based on their sexual practices Oscar-winning actor, Coppola relative and gargantuan B.O. grossing action star Nicolas Cage, 46, has revealed way too much about his food preferences.

Essentially, he won’t feast on an animal if he doesn’t like the way it has sex. So Pigs are out – because when they get down and funky, it just grosses him out.

In speaking to the U.K.’s Sun for his film “Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans,” Cage confesses:

“I have a fascination with fish, birds, whales – sentient life – insects, reptiles.

“I actually choose the way I eat according to the way animals have sex.

“I think fish are very dignified with sex. So are birds.

“But pigs, not so much. So I don’t eat pig meat or things like that. I eat fish and fowl.”

Cage, much like the late St. Francis of Assisi, loves animals. He cared for a pet octopus once and bought a two-headed snake which he gifted to the New Orleans zoo.

There have been no reports as to whether he actually talks to animals.
