Jesse James’ stepmom denies childhood abuse Earlier today we reported that Jesse James came out in an interview with Nightline to discuss his regrets, his past, and his future. In the interview he claimed that when he was seven, his father beat him and broke his arm and that when he went to rehab it wasn’t just for sex addiction, but for childhood abuse as well.

However, Jesse’s former stepmom is coming forward to clear the air about the alleged childhood abuse. She claims that the broken arm ordeal “is a bunch of crap,” reports TMZ. Janina James Coan who played a part in Jesse’s life until he was six, said he broke a lot of bones, but it was because he was into motocross. They continue to report that she stated “Larry was the most caring father, the kindest father who would do anything for anybody. He loved Jesse to death and would brag about him all the time.”

Is Jesse just trying to get some sympathy from the media, or is this really true?
