Dennis Hopper passes away at age 74 Dennis Hopper was best known for the film he directed and starred in called “Easy Rider.” The film won an award at the Cannes Film Festival and then followed with a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay.

Sadly, he has become the second Hollywood star to pass away this week. The 74-year-old lost his battle with prostate cancer and died at his Venice home with family and friends, reports TMZ.
