“Golden Girls'” Rue McClanahan passes away at 76

HollywoodNews.com: Hollywood is just not holding up this month. In the last few weeks we’ve lost a handful of talented actors from the entertainment community.

The latest to join them is “Golden Girls” star Rue McClanahan who played Blanche Devereaux. According to TMZ, her manager stated that she passed away at 1 AM at a hospital in New York after suffering a stroke on Monday.

McClanahan was 76.
