Hard Liquor Vanishes from Wizarding World of Harry Potter

HollywoodNews.com: Recent reports have been floating around online that changes have been made to the brew policy in the Hog’s Head Tavern, one of the restaurants in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Universal Orlando/Islands of Adventure has reportedly pulled all hard liquors from the offerings in the popular pub, while its signature Hogs Head brew and other light alcoholic refreshments such as beer and wine have remained. This information was verified by Barbara Nefer, a blogger for Examiner.com who visited the park just last night.

Although the name suggests otherwise, Butterbeer is actually a non-alcoholic drink, and can still be purchased in the park with no restrictions.

So what do you think? Is this the right call to make, or should hard liquor beverages have been left on the menu? Comment below with your thoughts!

meh…doesn’t really affect me, either way. Not something I really ever consider getting when I’m at a theme park.

However, Hogshead is a bar, so it would seem appropriate and in keeping with the theming.

Universal doesn’t seem to have any issues generating revenue with this new venture, so I doubt the extra liquor revenue would make much difference.
