Studio has hired screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith to write the screenplay. During the tenure of the feature’s development, Graham King has been attached as producer along with Tim Burton as director reports Variety. Richard Zanuck, Christi Dembrowski and David Kennedy are also onboard as producers.

No release date is reported yet for the film, though it is included as one of the titles in a three-year pact that Warner Bros. has with Imax.

“Dark Shadows” is based on a vampire soap opera TV series which aired on ABC from 1966 through 1971. Depp snapped up film rights to “Dark Shadows” when the show’s producer-director Dan Curtis passed away.

    Tim Burton,
Should hire Mrs.Alexandra Moltke IsIes as Elizabeth Staddard Collins. She would be a
experience in that role. So mr.burton if you read this please think about using her for
    your new movie project.
