Lily Allen takes to ‘Twitter’ to apologize to fans for no-show at ‘Benicassim Festival’ Lily Allen has revealed that she was forced to pull out of a Spanish music festival due to doctor’s orders.

The ‘Not Fair’ singer was due to appear at Benicassim Festival, but pulled out at the last minute due to illness. But luckily for the crowds of fans who had reportedly gathered to watch her perform, singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding was on hand to step in.

The ‘Starry Eyed’ singer, who was also due to perform at the festival, was bumped up to the Verde stage when Allen’s absence was announced after she was advised to not make the trip.

Allen, 25, posted a message on her ‘Twitter’ page apologizing for her no-show. She wrote: “I really am truly sorry. I was so excited, but the doc wouldn’t allow it.”

Allen pulled out of last year’s ‘Benicassim’ and also dropped out of this year’s ‘Glastonbury Festival.’
