Randy Jackson on Simon Cowell’s ‘Idol’ replacement: “We don’t know yet”

HollywoodNews.com: ‘Fox’ producers have revealed it is proving “very difficult” to find a replacement judge for Simon Cowell on American Idol.

The 50-year-old music mogul left the ‘Fox’ show earlier this year and bosses have claimed they still haven’t found a replacement for him for the next season.

One of the other judges on the show, Randy Jackson, recently said: “We don’t know yet. I think there’s a lot of discussion going on. So we’ll see. It’s coming. It’s coming.”

A ‘Fox’ exec added: “We didn’t anticipate him leaving. I guess we took it for granted that as long as Idol continued Simon would be with us. It’s very difficult trying to find someone to fill such huge shoes. Negotiations are still ongoing.”
