Kings of Leon shut down concert because of “pooping pigeons” Kings of Leon stepped out on stage for their show in St. Louis and didn’t expect what was coming at them.

Three songs into the set, the band’s bassist, Jared Followill, “was hit several times during the first two songs,” reports CNN. Vector Management’s Andy Mendelsohn added, “It’s not only disgusting – it’s a toxic health hazard. They really tried to hang in there.”

Followill said, “I was hit by pigeons on each of the first three songs. We had 20 songs on the set list. By the end of the show, I would have been covered from head to toe.”

After the band cancelled the show they issued a statement to the fans saying, “We want to apologize to our fans in St. Louis and will come back as soon as we can.”
