Well you have to be in the backwoods not hear this lady sing from her ‘delight of life.’ It is probably true that every musician hits their chord, as the first time I heard the entire album (100Miles…) I got those goosebumps you get when you think the person is standing right behind and singing. So I took the music down to a main through way, in the big city, one morning at six am and put it on my player…earplugs in and watched the crowd of life come to a new day…. Not only did I get that same iridescent feeling I also got this groove to my self (perhaps soul) …I felt lightened. Sky was getting more golden and the people were shuffling along a Sunday morning gettin’ a new day started. -Thank you Sheryl: you’ve ‘goosebumped’ us back to life (Amen sister) and to what it’s all about…peace, faith, hope and harmony.
