‘Jersey Shore’ star “The Situation” won’t get a trademark
HollywoodNews.com: Looks like ‘Jersey Shore’ star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino can’t get everything he wants, at least not from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
“The Situation” reportedly filed an application to trademark his nickname so that he could market a clothing line under the same name, states UsMagazine.com. There is allegedly already a clothing company under the name “Situation” and Sorrentino’s lawyers were reportedly unable to convince the judge to give them a trademark.
“The Situation” has reportedly partnered with Dilligaf by Bohica Bill to create a “couture” clothing line. The company chose him because he “embodies [their] irreverent approach to life” and “his style is unparalleled.” Considering he so often has his shirt off, that seems hard to determine.
