Ben Affleck talks about filming with felons In Ben Affleck’s newest film, ‘The Town,’ they tried to keep everything as real as possible and that included casting felons for some of the roles.

However, Affleck and crew found that it wouldn’t be as easy as they thought as there are some important restrictions that affected the process, reports Hollyscoop. As convicted felons, they aren’t allowed to hold weapons such as guns, but that was one thing the film crew needed them to do.

So, the matter was taken up with the federal judge and the felons’ probation officers. Despite the fact that “they take those laws very seriously,” Affleck and his team were able to work things out in the end.
