Susan Boyle breaks three world records Singing sensation Susan Boyle is celebrating making it into the 2011 Guinness World Records.

The ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ star has broken three records with her fairytale rise to stardom. Her album I Dreamed A Dream set a new record for a debut release by selling 411,820 copies in its first week.

It also sold more than a million copies in 21 days – the fastest-selling album by a female artist in the UK. And SuBo became a triple record-breaker as the oldest artist to top the charts with a debut album.

She was 48 when her album reached No1 in November 2009. Delighted Susan said: “This is a real honor. I read this book as a wee girl. I never dreamt that one day I would appear in it.”
