Jennifer Lopez, Steven Tyler join Randy Jackson at ‘Idol’
HollywoodNews.com: It has finally been announced who will be sitting next to Randy Jackson at the ‘American Idol’ judging table for the next season that will premiere January 2011.
As it was rumored, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler will be the new judges on the singing competition reality TV show, states TVbytheNumbers. Along with these additions, Jimmy Iovine – chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records and co-founder of Beats Audio – will be an in-house mentor for the contestants.
Both Lopez and Tyler appear to be excited for these new roles: “I’m ready to bring some rock to this ‘roller’ coaster,” Tyler commented about what he’ll be bringing to the table. Lopez has previously been on American Idol as one of the mentors.
American Idol will be in its 10th season this year.
