Katy Perry dissed by her best friend

HollywoodNews.com: Katy Perry and Rihanna have become very close, but Rihanna might be feeling that she’s got one up on her good friend when it comes to music.

Rihanna was being interviewed by BBC’s Radio 1 about her new album ‘Loud,’ when she slightly insulted Perry’s music, states RadarOnline.com. “I didn’t want the generic pop record that Ke$sha or Lady Gaga or Katy Perry would do,” Rihanna said about the music other women are doing.

Rihanna feels that all the songs on have been tailored to her and could only be done by her.

I WISH THE MEDIA would stop trying to create drama where there is none. Rihanna said that she wanted to create a record that sounded like her alone and that no other pop artist could duplicate it. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Kesha are all on the Pop scene right now and they do have similar outlandish tracks. She was stating a fact, not dismissing their talents, so really grow up.
