Michael Jackson’s lawyer: Michael “truly believed he could heal the world”

HollywoodNews.com: Michael Jackson’s lawyer is still defending his client even though he is in the grave, saying the singer was a “kind-hearted artist” who “truly believed he could heal the world”.

Tom Mesereau, who successfully represented the King of Pop in a 2005 sexual molestation trial, told CNN that he thinks Jackson was exploited and taken advantage of.

He said: “He [Jackson] was a very kind-hearted, gentle, sensitive, intuitive artist who truly believed he could heal the world in some positive way. He attracted one profiteer after another. There was loneliness, isolation, distrust. The cruellest thing of all was taking children and turning children against him.”

Mesereau was asked to represent the music legend by his family after being recommended by OJ Simpson’s former lawyer, Johnnie Cochran.

The 60-year-old lawyer revealed that he always believed he would win the case. He said: “I thought we were winning all along.”

Mesereau also criticised media coverage of the Jackson trial, saying: “Mountains were made out of molehills. “The case was characterised by crisis, shock and confusion.”

Michael has succeeded in his mission. He has brought millions of people from all over the world together in a positive way, they are all following in his footsteps and thinking of ways to heal this world via peace and love. His fans will continue to fight for him and jump to his defense simply because they know there was a HUGE evil conspiracy to bring Mike down and steal what is rightfully his (the music catalogue). It’s sad the media played part in this conspiracy and had ignorant people dance to their tunes. Any decent human being who fears God and refuses to judge others based on fiction would have done their own research and found out what we knew all along: Michael was not guilty, he was set up and extorted. If only people took the time to think and do their own research, they would see what we see in Michael and come to love him as much as we do. I still believe in happy endings, and I pray justice will prevail. God bless you Mike wherever you are, and may He protect you always.

We know all along MJ’s kind hearted person taken advantage of by leeches in his life! and the stupid media like you! didnt know him at all! yet trying to report on him with copy and paste journalism! Even thought it’s the doctor that gave him the final shot! YOU contributed to his death! You caused his harm psychologically, emotionally and mentally and ultimately destroyed him!! Seeing all the injustices done to MJ, I realize one thing in this world, you should never be too kind to others and we all should be more self centred, and vile! lest you end up being taken advantage of! and destroyed like MJ!

See, MJ donated over us$300million to charities and done so many good deeds in his life privately without the camera on! there are so many stories out there told by those whom he’s helped! that show he’s a pure, innocent, kind hearted man. a rare human being and an angel on earth. Everyone who knows him know he’s nothing like what the media painted him out to be! He’s intelligent, smart, humourous, well-read and always nice to everyone! but all we see in the media is lies lies lies make him up like this stupid individual and a freak! I truly hope when the judgement day comes, God will throw your souls in hell!

go tom! go! of course he deserves to be defended. It’s better than slandering a person, and destroying their life.. and torturing them with baseless accusations..

I think Tom may very well have been the best friend Michael ever had. Tom stuck by his side and defended him to the end of the world and back again. I wish I could have known MJ better and I envy Tom for being one of the few who really did.

Thank you Mr Mesereau for being there for Michael. If only he had true friends like you in his life from the start, his life might have turned out differently. God bless you Tom, keep up the good work.
