Sam Rockwell to terrorize Jonah Hill in “Sitter”
By Sean O’Connell
Hollywoodnews.com: Sam Rockwell could be moving from a “Conviction” to a criminal.
Later this month, Rockwell’s set to play a short-tempered troublemaker jailed for a crime he might not have committed in Tony Goldwyn’s “Conviction.” Now he’s being attached to the role of a rough-and-tumble drug dealer giving Jonah Hill a hard time.
Rockwell’s about the join the “Superbad” star for “The Sitter,” a David Gordon Green-helmed comedy set up at 20th Century Fox, according to The Wrap. Rockwell previously worked with Green on the unfunny (yet criminally underrated) “Snow Angels” with Kate Beckinsale. Since then, Green has gone on to flex his funny bone with “Pineapple Express” and “Your Highness,” which screened footage at New York Comic Con and earned raves.
In “Sitter,” Hill plays a college dropout who’s babysitting his neighbor’s kids, then embarks on a wild night through Manhattan when his attempt to score drugs for a girl go bad. Rockwell would play the drug dealer, and will be joined by “Curb Your Enthusiasm” co-star J.B. Smoove.
Right now, “Sitter” is scheduled for a July 15, 2011 release date, which puts it up against the conclusion of the “Harry Potter” franchise. Good luck with that.

Completely agree about Snow Angels being “criminally under-rated”. It’s too bad SAs wasn’t released this year it certainly would have to noticed in a year like this one!
