Scarlett Johansson is going to the ‘Zoo’ with Cameron Crowe Scarlett Johansson may not have nabbed her fav role of a female astronaut in Alfonso Cuaron’s “Gravity,” but she’s working with Cameron Crowe.

An even better deal.

Johansson will star opposite Matt Damon in the director’s true-life drama “We Bought a Zoo.”

The Hollywood Reporter had the news.

Based on the memoir by Benjamin Mee, “Zoo” follows the author (Damon) who used his life savings to buy a dilapidated zoo of 200 exotic animals in Great Britain. Mee’s wife (Johansson) during this time was battling brain cancer. With the help of his children, Mee balanced life and resurrected the zoo.
