By Hanako M. Ricks

HollywoodNews.com: The stars of the Harry Potter films began making the media rounds in New York yesterday, where Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 premiered last night. Rupert Grint, who has portrayed the character of Ron Weasley for half of his life, appeared on “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” yesterday morning, and video is now available of that appearance.

The short interview touched briefly on the friendships between the trio of actors and their characters, Rupert’s ice-cream van, and ended with a clip of a very tense scene during which Harry and Ron’s friendship is put to the test. You can see the interview and clip below:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 will be in theaters this Friday, November 19.
