Ryan Gosling doesn’t totally agree with film’s rating

HollywoodNews.com: Ryan Gosling’s latest film, ‘Blue Valentine,’ got an NC-17 rating and, as he is promoting the film, he is making sure it’s clear that he isn’t quite sure that is appropriate for the complex film.

Gosling admits in the latest issue of ‘New York’ magazine that the rating doesn’t make sense when you compare it to other films, states Just Jared.

“[They’re saying it’s] okay supporting scenes that portray women in scenarios of sexual torture and violence for entertainment purposes, but they are trying to force us to look away from a scene that shows a woman in a sexual scenario, which is both complicit and complex,” Gosling says about how the film seems to be treated unfairly.

Do you think Blue Valentine has gotten an unfair rating?
